2025 Week 34-35
Early Bird gets a US Open?
Somehow we find ourselves on the eve of the last major of the year, and if it feels like its starting sooner than expected: it is! The US Open will start on a Sunday this year, with main draw play kicking off 11:00am EST. It’ll be a tight turnaround as we’re still wrapping up Week 33 action in Monterey and Winston Salem late Saturday.
US Open coverage will be on ESPN Networks, with ESPN+ being your home for first to last ball match play. ESPN has debuted its ESPN Unlimited Streaming service this week, so if you currently have any assortment of Disney/Hulu/ESPN subscriptions it may worth checking out this comparison of plans to see if it would be worth signing up. Good news for tennis fans, is (for now) tennis remains on the current tier (now known as ESPN Select) for $11.99/month. New this year, ABC will kick off TV coverage on Sunday (starting 12:00pm), and will also air the Men’s Final. ESPN will also have dual ESPN/ESPN 2 coverage during the first few nights of play as well.
If that wasn’t enough to keep track of this weekend, we’ve also got the Tennis Hall of Fame Ceremony which will air on TC2 live at 6:00pm, replayed on Tennis Channel at 7:30pm. Catch your breath, grab a Honey Deuce, and enjoy and some tennis!
