Time for the years second major as Roland Garros will kick off this Sunday! Main draw play will start early morning hours on this side of the Atlantic, lasting into the early afternoon.
Coverage will be a major departure this year with it being the first of a ten year deal with Warner Bros to cover the French Open. This means matches will air live on TNT, TBS, and TruTV (similar coverage to NCAA March Madness and NBA). Streaming will also move over HBO Max, where all matches will be live streamed. Tennis Channel will continue to have live matches from outer courts for the first week as well, and does look to be airing repays in the afternoon and evening.
It will be interesting to see how this change goes for tennis fans, in past years the NBC/Tennis Channel/Peacock trifecta has been challenging to navigate throughout the day. Leave a comment on your thoughts throughout the fortnite on how its going!

Instead of making it easy for a casual fan to stumble across tennis, the tournaments make tennis obscure.
Not great, fellas.
