The WTA tour returns to Wuhan this year after a five year hiatus. It will also be the final 1000 level event on the WTA side this year, so it’ll play heavily in ranking placement for the WTA Year End Championships.
Coverage will continue on Tennis Channel, following the coverage blocks for ATP Shanghai, which continues from Week 40:

We may still be wrapping up tournaments from last week, but there is another event kicking off Week 40! ATP Shanghai will begin mid week, while the WTA continues action in Beijing.
