After a few weeks juggling multiple tournaments at a time, the tour collectively turns its attention to one spot for the next two weeks: Madrid. The first of two back to back 1000 level clay events (Rome will pick up the baton from Madrid in two weeks) will kick off Tuesday. Madrid is also adjusting to its super sized two week format, so WTA main draw matches will start Tuesday, with finals the first weekend in May.
Coverage will be on Tennis Channel with TC Plus and Tennis TV streaming. With both tours on the same stage, there will be lots of matches happening at once so those streaming subscriptions will come in handy if you have one. Check out the full guide below and enjoy some tennis! Since we have a few days before main draw action kicks off, check out our friends over at Court Theory for previews of Madrid and recaps of last weeks action!
