Just like that, we find ourselves on the eve of the years second major. Roland Garros will kick off early Sunday morning so start baking your baguettes and stocking up on Perrier. We’ve been able to get our stamina up for two week events lately, so while some players may be trying to find their form, us fans should be hitting our second week peak by the time action kicks off!
Coverage for Roland Garros is…well….unique, but this isn’t our first time around so Tennis Watchers has you prepared. Matches will be shown across a variety of networks with Tennis Channel kicking off coverage, and both NBC and Peacock supplementing throughout the fortnight. Tennis Channel’s ad-supported channel, T2, which is available on Samsung smart TVs will also air some matches, as will some regional Bally Sports networks. As you can see, it will be a bit complicated as some days matches will jump between Tennis Channel, NBC, and Peacock all in one day. Peacock does also require a subscription for $4.99 a month, but it can be cancelled at any time. In addition, you can use the promo code summerofpeacock to get a year for $19.99. As was announced a few weeks back, YouTube TV will also bring back Tennis Channel to its service on 6/1.
One more note, it isn’t clear if the Direct TV slam mix will be back quite yet, for Australia it was removed and it doesn’t appear to be on the guide for Paris either, but for those that have Direct TV let us know if you see it back.
