One. Week. Away. It is hard to believe, but we only have one more week until the US Open! You may think the week before a slam is quiet in terms of tournaments, but the US Open has always had some fun events during the lead up week. This year the WTA will have two new events in Cleveland and Chicago, while the ATP will return to Winston-Salem. As for coverage, it looks like Cleveland and Winston-Salem will be on Tennis Channel/Tennis Channel Plus. In addition, the Tennis One App will be streaming select courts at both Cleveland and Winston-Salem. You can find the Tennis One App on Google and Apple. It does look like Chicago coverage has been added to TC Plus for the week as well.
US Open Qualifying also kicks off mid-week. While fans may not be able to attend in person US Open Qualifying historically has been a great way to kick off the years last slam. The good news is it appears ESPN will air qualifying matches on ESPN News starting at 11:00am in addition to streaming via ESPN Plus. Qualifying kicks off on 8/24.
