Welcome to Week 2 Tennis Watchers!
This week we will see the start of Australian Open Qualifying. Given the shift in schedule this year, WTA players will compete in Dubai and ATP in Doha for their spot in the Australian Open Main Draw. Check out the guide below.
In schedule news this week, the WTA released its provisional schedule through July of this year. As with all things schedule related, it is subject to change based on COVID-19 protocols, but does outline the shape of the WTA through Wimbledon. The ATP also posted its update first quarter schedule through April of this year.
We also saw the end of the ATP/WTA live score app this week, which has been a tough transition for tennis fans. There are several options for scoring apps out there, although none have quite captured the functionality of the original app. In addition to apps, the WTA has launched a dedicated live scores page. Twitter user @fogmount has broken down app options for us in a nice format for you to compare options for what fits your needs.

Here at Tennis Watchers HQ, there will likely be a combination of Resultina and Google so far but will be testing out some additional options moving forward. If you have preferences or other options, comment what strategies you are using below!
